Task:
This design was created for the fictitious client Amethyst Bay. For this project, I was tasked with creating a design to promote the unique, relaxing, and one of a kind experience, that is offered at Amethyst Bay.

Steps:
For this project, I chose images that I felt represented this sensation and altered them within photoshop, to not only fit the theme, but have the same color scheme. I then imported these images into Illustrator and added elements that allowed for scalability. The layout is critical to the success of this design, since the images, empty space, and background colors, all serve to give focus to the Logo. The images have a circular clipping mask and are given a border to help the images blend in with the design. After receiving feedback, I changed the balance of the images and included a drop shadow to give additional focus on the images. Since I was tasked with creating a theme within my design, I felt that all these design choices highlighted the unique qualities of the resort as well as aid in the theme of the design. The phrase “A new perspective over the horizon,” was an additional design choice that was intentionally placed on the horizon and serves as the slogan for the resort.
